Celebrating our colleagues at Winter Roadshow
During winter 2024, our Executive Leadership Team toured around the UK to meet with colleagues across the business to provide an update on our 2024 performance, talk about AMP8 and beyond, plus celebrating the success of our colleagues at our first ‘One Avove’ Awards. The roadshows are also a great opportunity to thank everyone for their fantastic contribution in helping us to deliver against our strategic objectives.
We have achieved a significant amount throughout the last year, and our colleagues have been instrumental in helping us to shape the business along the way.
We engage regularly with our colleagues and value their direct feedback on our ambitious growth plans and ways of working. Our colleague roadshows allow us to meet in person and hear their views as well as celebrate their successes – which is vital to creating a great environment for innovation and collaboration.
Some of the highlights:
- As part of Men’s Health Month, we were joined by guest speakers – Rachel Bottomley from our charity partner SAMH and Sean Toon from Proud2bSafe who shared his personal thought-provoking mental health and wellbeing journey
- Over 650 colleagues took part in a teambuilding exercise focussing on collaboration and teamwork
- We raised over £500 for Mind and SAMH as part of our win £100 shopping voucher raffle
- We celebrated our colleagues with more than 13 colleagues receiving long-service awards from 10 years to an impressive 40 years service
- We celebrated our colleagues success at our very first ‘One Avove Awards’
- We support local charitable organisations with colleagues donating items of food and clothing to local foodbanks
To celebrate 2024, we created a short film which highlights the great work we have achieved and how we far we have come as an organisation.

We are very proud of everything that our teams have achieved during our first year as Avove and our summer roadshows gave us an ideal opportunity to say a special thank you to our colleagues for their ongoing support and commitment.
